Leading software provider Osprey Approach has partnered with Coadjute, the blockchain network for the UK property market, which aims to halve the time it takes to move home.
Osprey Approach, along with property data provider Search Acumen, and award-winning conveyancing firms AVRillo and PCS Legal, are the latest businesses to join the Coadjute Network, as conveyancers turn to blockchain to transform processes.
Coadjute’s blockchain platform is an open network, which tackles the slow, complex, and costly process of property transactions by enabling buyers, sellers and professionals involved in the process to synchronise events and alerts in real-time, securely share messages and confidential documents, and gain access to third party data and services.
Uniquely, property businesses connect to the Coadjute network through their existing systems, making integration easy and enabling cost reductions, improved resilience, and a transformed customer experience. Coadjute’s open network is built on R3’s enterprise blockchain platform, Corda Enterprise.
Craig Matthews, CEO at Osprey Approach said: – “We have been involved in discussions about how to create a more open conveyancing experience for many years, and Coadjute’s solution is set to achieve that. By bringing together all the parties involved in the conveyancing process – from estate agents and solicitors, to buyers and sellers – Coadjute’s open and transparent network will address the issues of speed, cost and complexity. Connecting Osprey Approach to Coadjute’s network provides our customers with an easy way to cooperate with other parties in property transaction, saving them time and money, but it also gives our customers an advantage in the service they can provide their clients.
“We’re really excited to be working with Coadjute and playing a part in the industry’s transformation for the benefit of all parties,” he added.
Dan Salmons, CEO at Coadjute said: – “We are delighted to partner with the much-respected team at Osprey Approach. There is a huge demand for digitisation at the moment, but it has to be easy, and sharing data and documents using the fast, secure connectivity of the Coadjute Network from within an existing legal platform has to be one of the easiest ways for a conveyancer to benefit from digitisation, cutting costs and saving admin time. We are delighted that Osprey Approach has joined the growing number of businesses that are incorporating Coadjute into their software, and warmly welcome them to the rapidly expanding Coadjute community.”
